About Us

Drs. Susan Cicala and Stephanie Bamford were classmates in Arcadia University’s acclaimed Physical Therapy program, where they both received their doctorates.

Before Arcadia, Dr. Susan Cicala received her bachelors in exercise science from the University of Delaware.

She was recognized with a 2013 Award for Excellence in Research for her work on shoulder injuries for swimmers. She is a balance specialist with a vestibular certification from the American Physical Therapy Association.

Dr. Cicala has a passion for her patients and is constantly pursuing new research and information to improve their results.

Dr. Stephanie Bamford received a bachelors degree from Gettysburg College with a dual major in Health and Environmental Studies before entering Arcadia’s DPT program.

She earned her Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialty (CSCS) from the National Strength and Conditioning Association. She is also a Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist (PCES).

Dr. Bamford believes that physical fitness is integral for overall well being. She takes an holistic approach as she believes that nutrition, sleep and stress management are all important for proper body function and overall quality of life.

Dr. Kim Elia has worked as a physical therapist for over 10 years, including the last 8 years in a home-care setting.

She received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Delaware. Dr. Elia has a certification in LSVT BIG treatment for Parkinson’s Disease and spent two years as a Multiple Sclerosis clinic staff. She also has a special interest and training in vestibular disorders.

Dr. Elia is devoted to others with a desire to provide excellence in therapeutic care and continue to learn and grow as a professional.

Dr. Susan Cicala lives in Wilmington and primarily serves Wilmington, Brandywine Hundred, and Greenville.

Dr. Stephanie Bamford lives in West Chester and primarily serves Philadelphia and the surrounding counties, including Montgomery, Chester and Delaware County.

Dr. Kim Elia lives in Pike Creek and primarily serves Pike Creek, Hockessin, and Newark.
